Abstract:For increasing selectivity of cyclohexene in the selective hydrogenation of benzene Al2O3-ZrO2 composite carrier was first prepared by a coprecipitation method using aluminum sol as a precursor and then Ru-Zn-B/Al2O3 and Ru-Zn-B/Al2O3-ZrO2 catalysts were prapared by sodium borohydride chemical reduction method using RuCl3 as a precursor. The performance of two catalysts was evaluated by selective hydrogenation of benzene in autoclave reactor. The results showed that ZrO2 was favorable to increase the selectivity of cyclohexene on Ru-Zn-B/Al2O3 catalyst obviously, the highest selectivity of cyclohexene occured when the Zr/Al atomic ratio was 0.1. Calcining temperature of carrier had important effect on cyclohexene selectivity. The optimal calcination temperature was 600 ℃.
