Abstract:This paper introduces the application of the domestic GS-DS catalyst in an 85 kt/a styrene unit and evaluates the catalyst performance through industrial plant calibration and long-term operation data analysis. The results indicated that under the conditions of an ethylbenzene feed load of 110.5%, steam/ethylbenzene ratio (mass ratio) of 1.33, and a reaction pressure of 37.0 kPa, the ethylbenzene conversion rate reached 62.4%, the styrene selectivity was as high as 97.3%, and the catalyst service life was up to 45 months. The catalyst exhibited good stability, with strong capabilities in anti-fluctuation, anti-coking, and anti-crushing, showing broad application prospects.
