Abstract:How to remove sulfides from natural gas and recycle them has become a concern of people. Starting from energy consumption and ecological environment, the deep desulfurization technology was investigated for desulfurization tail gas produced in the process of natural gas purification. The Claus method commonly used in the removal and recovery of sulphide in tail gas was analyzed, and three processes of conventional Claus, super Claus and super Claus were simulated. Based on the super-excellent Claus process, some improvements were made. Heat pump distillation was used in the pretreatment section to save energy to the maximum extent, energy consumption of cold utility and heat utility were respectively reduced by 57.42% and 21.47% comparing with traditional distillation. After tail gas treatment, absorption section was added and absorbed. The regenerated gas was recycled to the pretreatment section to make full use of sulfur in the tail gas. The final recovery ratio is 99.94%, and the sulfur content of the discharge gas is lower than the national standard.
