Abstract:In order to develop a feasible technology for deep desulfurization and resource utilization of industrial hydrogen sulfide waste gas from refineries, the process was proposed that the light hydrocarbon recovery dry gas was deeply desulfurized by absorption of methyl diethanolamine- monoethanolamine mixed ethanolamine solution (H2S≤20 mg/Nm3) and the obtained hydrogen sulfide was taken as resources to synthesize into high value-added dimethyl sulfoxide by hydrogen sulfide-methanol route. The composed process of dry gas purification unit, sulfide synthesis unit and sulfoxide synthesis unit was simulated and optimized. Compared with the traditional Claus process, the proposed process is advanced and feasible compared with the traditional Claus process, and the enterprise can obtain better economic and environmental benefits. It is an important development direction of desulfurization resource utilization in the future.
