Abstract:The aluminium-incorporated ATS-type zeolite, SCM-23, was synthesized by using 4-pyrrolidinopyridine as organic structure-directing agent (OSDA) for the first time. The effects of the amount of OSDA, molar ratios of SiO2/Al2O3 and H2O/SiO2, Ge content and crystallization temperature on the crystallization of SCM-23 zeolite were investigated respectively. X-ray diffraction (XRD), NH3 temperature programmed desorption (NH3-TPD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) were carried out to characterize the obtained zeolites. The suitable composition of the starting gel for the synthesis of SCM-23 is 1 SiO2 : (1/40-1/20) GeO2 : (1/60-1/30) Al2O3 : 0.6 SDA : 0.6 HF : (15-20) H2O. Aluminum was successfully incorporated into the framework in the tetracoordinated state and endowed SCM-23 with acidic property and good thermal and hydrothermal stability.
