Abstract:The distributor was one of the important internal components in the fluidized bed reactor. Most of the existing studies focused on the optimization and design of distributor type and arrangement, but less attention was paid to the influence of distribution tube structure on the flow characteristics in the reactor. In this paper, based on the traditional tubular distributor, a kind of tubular distributor with Venturi structure was proposed, the hydrodynamic properties of the traditional tubular distributor and the new distributor were compared by computational fluid dynamics simulation. The results showed that under the same working conditions, compared with the traditional tubular distributor, the pressure drop of the new distributor reduced by 38.10%-62.82%, the outlet gas velocity non-uniformity was lower, and the gas distribution was more uniform.
