Effect of Feedstock with High Bromine Index on the Operation of Aromatics Transalkylation Unit and Its Operation Optimization

Abstract:In order to improve the operation stability under the working condition of high bromine index feedstock, the effect of olefin components on aromatic transalkylation reaction was investigated through model reaction in the laboratory. The process conditions were adjusted and optimized by adjusting the reaction temperature and recycle hydrogen purity, which provided a theoretical basis for the operation optimization of industrial plant. Based on the laboratory results by optimizing process parameters such as reaction temperature and recycle hydrogen purity, as well as replacing clay operation, the reaction stability and conversion of industrial plant under the working condition of high bromine index feedstock were significantly improved. The results provide a reference for the operation optimization of aromatic transalkylation unit under the working condition of high bromine index feedstock.
