Abstract:Aiming at the problems of low production efficiency and large space occupied by the reaction device of semi-continuous amination of trimethylchlorosilane, a tubular reaction device for continuous amination of trimethylchlorosilane to produce hexamethyldisilazane was designed and manufactured. The effects of operating parameters such as flowrate and concentration of the liquid feed, gas-liquid ratio and circulating flowrate on the operation performance of the reaction device were explored. The results showed that the operation performance of the reaction device was the best under the conditions of total liquid feed flow of 9 mL/min, trimethylchlorosilane volume fraction of 20%, gas-liquid molar ratio of 1.8 and circulating flow of 240 L/h, and conversion of trimethylchlorosilane reached 94.91%, the production load reached 348.93 kg/(m3·h). The smooth operation of the reaction device provides a new continuous production process for the amination of trimethylchlorosilane to prepare hexamethyldisilazane.
