Abstract:The reformed sulfur-containing liquefied gas (LPG) of a petroleum refining and chemical enterprise contains higher C1, C2, C5 and sulfur components, which needs to be desulfurized in the delayed coking plant and then mixed with other LPG to be sent to the gas separation unit to produce propylene and other products. Due to the long-time overload operation of the desulfurization tower in the coking plant, the operation of the desulfurization tower was unstable, the C2 content of coking liquefied gas was high, and the propylene yield was reduced. In view of this situation, the scheme of revamping the outlet pipeline of reforming sulfur-containing liquefied gas to the feed pipeline of debutanizer and deethanizer in hydrocracking unit was put forward in this paper, which could remove hydrogen sulfide in liquefied gas as well as C5, C2 and C1 components in liquefied gas. After the implementation of the scheme, the C2 component of LPG was reduced from 1.92%(volume fraction) to 0.49% and the propylene yield was increased from 17.81% to 18.01% compared with that was sent to the desulfurization tower of coking plant. The economic benefit analysis showed that the annual yield increase of propylene was about 642.24 t/a, and the economic benefit was about 312.6×104 yuan/a. The equipment investment cost was about 10×104 yuan and the equipment depreciation cost was about 1×104 yuan/a, then the annual economic benefit could reach 311.6×104 yuan/a.
