Abstract:Manganese-based catalysts (MnxOy/FA-PG) loaded on fly ash and natural attapulgite bonded support are generally used for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) denitration process. In order to improve catalytic activity and the stability, the catalysts were modified with acid treatment. The acid type, acid concentration and pickling steps for the treatment of MnxOy/FA-PG catalyst were studied systematically. The catalyst activity for low temperature SCR denitration was analyzed, and an optimal condition was finally obtained. The experimental results show that, in comparison with the original catalyst, the catalytic activity increases significantly by the direct treatment of catalyst support with 0.6~1.2 mol/l acetic acid before loading the catalyst, especially in 100~150 ℃ cryogenic window for the low-temperature denitration process.
