Abstract:In order to solve the problem that the industrial waste gas containing sulfur in iron and steel plant can not meet the increasing emission standard, the ammonia desulphurization has been improved on the aspects of oxidation mode, demister and packing model in this study. The external oxidation technology of desulphurizer is adopted to effectively control ammonia escape. Cosine type corrugated plate mists remover with barbed hook is used to decrease the pressure drop less than 0.01 MPa and to reach 90% fog removal ratio. Furthermore, the corrugated packing model of orifice plate is proposed, and the simulation results with Aspen showed that the desulfurization ratio exceeded 99%, higher than the traditional desulfurization process.
