Abstract:The improved sodium sulfide-sulfur process was used to treat sulfur-containing flue gas and yellow phosphorus tail gas, to meet the ultra-low emission standard of sulfur-containing flue gas. The whole desulfurization process of flue gas from 300 MW power plant was simulated by software Aspen Plus. And the reduction reaction conditions of Na2SO4 such as temperature, reactor volume and Na2SO4 particle size were optimized by Aspen Plus sensitivity analysis and Comsol Multiphysics software. It could been showed that the treated tail gas met the ultra-low emission standard, and 12 kt/a of sulfur powder and 18 kt/a of industrial grade liquid carbon dioxide were produced at the same time. The work provides basic data for the industrial application of improving sodium sulphide-sulphur process.
