Abstract:The synthesis process of amino-terminated polyether by catalytic amination and hydrogenation of polypropylene glycol was developed. The effects of hydrogen flow rate, reaction temperature, liquid hourly space velocity of raw material, ratio of raw material and reaction pressure on the reaction process were studied. The results showed that the reaction revealed high performance under the conditions of reaction temperature 205 ℃, hydrogen flow rate 14.5 L/h, molar ratio of polypropylene glycol to liquid ammonia 1:14, liquid hourly space velocity 1.25 h-1, reaction pressure 6 MPa and the loading of nickel catalyst 10 mL. Under optimized reaction conditions, the conversion of polypropylene glycol reached 99.38%, total amine value of amino-terminated polyether reached 8.20 mmol/g, the purity of primary amine was 97.84%. The test results of curing properties showed that the quality and curing properties of the product were the same as those of the same kind of products from overseas, which they could completely replace the later.
