Abstract:In order to improve the photocatalytic performance of graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4), g-C3N4/C/Ag nanocomposites were prepared by hydrothermal reduction method and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and high resolution Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) were used to characterize the micro-morphology and chemical composition of the products. The UV-visible absorption spectra showed that the addition of silver nanoparticles can improve the light absorption range and the visible light absorption intensity of the composite. The methylene blue degradation experiments were performed on the prepared four samples. It was found that when the reaction condition was at 180 ℃ and the reaction time was 6h, the photocatalytic degradation performance of the obtained g-C3N4/C/Ag nanocomposites was the best. It showed that the g-C3N4/C/Ag nanocomposites have been successfully prepared, and their photocatalytic performance was better than that of g-C3N4.
