Abstract:Nano-TiO2 supported Ru noble metal catalysts were prepared under different conditions, and were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 physical adsorption, temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The prepared catalysts were applied to the catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) of three kinds of organic acid simulated waste water. The results showed that hydrogen reduction contributed to the dispersion of Ru on the surface of TiO2, thereby the catalysts exhibited high oxidative activity. The removal rates of chemical oxygen demand (COD) reached 95.3%, 91.6% and 70.1%, respectively, after 2 h CWAO treatment of acrylic acid, acetic acid and succinic acid simulated waste water over Ru/TiO2, under the conditions of temperature of 200 ℃ and initial O2 pressure of 3 MPa.
