Abstract:To develop the syngas preparation technology from the CO2 rotary arc plasma gasification, four domestic pulverized coals volatile content, CO2 gas and different feed ratio for the gasification process were investigated. The results showed that the gasification performance had significantly positive correlation with the volatiles content of the pulverized coal. The higher the volatile content was, the more favorable for the gasification of the pulverized coal. The content of CO and H2 in the product gas can exceed 93.5%. With the increase of CO2 content, the content of CO increased, while the H2 content decreased, and the carbon conversion rate can reach up to 86.1%. In the case of different CO2 and pulverized coal feed ratio, the H2 content increased to peak value with the increase of the input power of the reactor. At the feed ratio of 18.7, energy conversion efficiency reached the maximum of 71.6%. Compared with conventional coal gasification process, plasma gasification process has a higher syngas volume fraction and carbon conversion rate, which has large industrial application prospect in clean and efficient coal utilization.
