Abstract:The effects of reaction time, wall temperature and gas flow rate on carbon deposition with propylene as carbon source were studied, under the simulation conditions of gas full circulation of oil shale retorting technology. The results showed that the amount of carbon deposition increased with the increase of reaction time and wall temperature (800 ℃ or less), the coke amount also increased with the increase of gas flow rate at the beginning but decreased when the gas flow rate reached 30 mL/min. The effects of different factors on carbon deposition were in descending order: reaction time, gas flow rate, and wall temperature, and no interactions among the different factors were observed.
