Abstract:In order to improve the use ratio of heavy aromatics, the effects of indan(IND) content in feedstock on HAT-097 toluene disproportionation and C9+A aromatics transalkylation catalyst were investigated. The results showed that HAT-097 catalyst had excellent performance to cope with IND, but with the increase of IND content in feedstock, the conversion of toluene and C9+A decreased. In order to keep the same total conversion, the reaction temperature should be increased. Maybe IND was converted into the other products such methyl ethyl benzene(MEB) through 5-member-ring breaking reaction.
