Abstract:For forecasting the particle agglomerate in spouted beds quickly and effectively, the phenomena of particle agglomerate in a spouted bed was studied by pressure pulsation standard deviation method of pressure measuring points located at different level positions in the riser tube. Each point below was equipped with purge air to avoid the particle agglomerate on the pressure measuring point by adjusting the frequency of the bandpass filter for guaranteeing the accuracy of pressure measurement. The experimental results show that the riser tube pressure pulsation standard deviation has a linear relationship with the superficial gas velocity and obey the chi-square distribution under the low superficial gas velocity. Then a model of riser tube pressure pulsation standard deviation forecast the incidence of particle agglomerate is proposed. By comparing riser tube pressure pulsation standard deviation forecast method with conventional average pressure drop forecast method found, riser tube pressure pulsation standard deviation has higher superficial gas velocity recognition rate and less response time when the particle agglomerate achieves the spouted bed fast forecast of particle agglomerate phenomenon.
