Research Progress on Synthesis and Influencing Factors of Heteroatom Zeolites

Abstract:Heteroatom zeolites play an important role in the fields of oil refining and chemical engineering, coal chemical industry, biomass conversion and environmental protection. The efficient synthesis of heteroatom zeolites is the basis for their successful application, which has become an important topic of concern in both academia and industry. In this paper, the synthesis methods of heteroatom zeolites and the influencing factors of heteroatom entering the framework of zeolites were reviewed. Whether direct synthesis or post-treatment synthesis, the properties of heteroatoms such as heteroatom radius, electronegativity, complexation and coordination ability are the key factors affecting their efficient entry into the framework of zeolites. Strategic regulation of silicon species during the synthesis process will be an effective way to achieve controllable synthesis of predetermined heteroatom zeolites.
