Abstract:Diafiltration is a basic mode of membrane filtration processes, and it can be performed as concentration mode or dilution mode. The modeling of diafiltration process involved a wide range of content, from the micro infiltration transfer mechanism to the macro process technology. Furthermore, various parameters and complex form make it difficult to obtain a theory resolution. In this work, the mass balance model and time-optimization model are summarized with batch operation and continuous operation respectively. The comprehensive modeling approach of diafiltration processes with multi-parameters collaborative optimization. Based on the theoretical support, the diafiltration processes can be optimized on the experiments, which will provide key theoretical support for the performance of membrane equipment and the improvement of production efficiency.
