Abstract:The rising concentration of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has caused a series of climate change problems. Carbon dioxide emission reduction is imperative. Liquid sunshine methanol synthesis technology produces green methanol by reduction of carbon dioxide with green hydrogen, which shows great application potential. The principle, demonstration project, economic analysis and application of liquid sunshine methanol synthesis technology were briefly introduced in this paper. At present, the liquid sunshine methanol synthesis technology has been demonstrated at industrial scale, and is potentially an important technical route to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization.
