Abstract:A novel benzocarboxylic acid spiropyran compound, 3-[8'-methoxy-1,1-dimethyl-6'-nitrospiro (benzo[e]indole-2,2'-chromium)-3(1H)-YL] propionic acid, was synthesized by a simple method. The structure and properties of spiropyran compounds were analyzed by ultraviolet, fluorescence spectrophotometer, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, high resolution mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus. The results showed that the compound had naked-eye recognition, ultraviolet and fluorescence recognition, low detection limit for Fe3+ (3.22×10-6 mol/L) Pb2+ (3.02×10-6 mol/L) and fast response time.
