Abstract:The catalytic properties of MnO2 and synthesized Prussian blue (PB/XC-72R) as catalysts for methanol and hydrogen peroxide were studied. The performance of methanol hydrogen peroxide single chamber fuel cell was tested by using Z-NiPt as anode catalyst, MnO2 and PB/XC-72R as cathode catalyst. The results showed that the maximum power of PB/XC-72R single chamber fuel cell could reach 9.1 mW. This study verified the feasibility of methanol hydrogen peroxide single chamber fuel cell, which offered a foundation for the subsequent development of the technology.
