Abstract:In order to comprehensively optimize the application of mixed C10 olefin, enrich the product of hexene plants, improve the economic efficiency and enhance the overall competitiveness of hexene plants , the decylphenol was synthesized by alkylation reaction with fixed bed as reactor, and further reacted with ethylene oxide to synthesize the decylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (DPEO-10). Moreover, some performance comparisons were conducted between DPEO-10 and the nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (NPEO-10). Through the experiment, the better reaction conditions of alkylation reaction were selected as follows: catalyst-the cationic resin modified by 5% Al and 5% Mn, the reactor-fixed bed reactor, the space velocity 0.6 h-1, the reaction temperature 100 ℃, the molar ratio of phenol to decene 4:1. Under above conditions, the conversion rate of decene was 99.4%, selectivity was 95.5%, and there was no obvious change in the catalyst activity after continuous operation for more than 1 000 h. It was concluded through performance comparison that DPEO-10 had better wetting performance than NPEO-10, and the stability of the emulsion formed in xylene was comparable to NPEO-10.
