Abstract:In order to improve the yield and safety of diisopropyl phosphite synthesis, using phosphorus trichloride and isopropanol as raw materials, the continuous flow process for the synthesis of diisopropyl phosphite in a metal microchannel reactor was studied. The effects of HCl tail gas, solvent, feed ratio, reaction residence time and reaction temperature on the reaction yield were investigated. The optimized process results showed that the yield of diisopropyl phosphite can reach 91% when the total volume of the reaction was 130 mL, molar ratio of isopropanol to phosphorus trichloride was 3.7:1, the reaction temperature at 20 ℃ and the reaction residence time at 5 min. Comparing with the traditional production process, the flow synthesis process in metal microchannel reactor has a higher yield of diisopropyl phosphite, a lower operating cost and an improved production stability and safety.
