Abstract:The experiment of NO removal was conducted in a self-designed dielectric barrier and corona discharge device. The effects of acetone on NO removal from flue gas with different gas compositions and the function mechanism of acetone on NO removal were discussed. The results indicated that the NO removal efficiency decreased with the increase of O2 content in the NO/O2/N2 system, and the addition of a small amount of acetone could counteract the inhibition of O2 and improve the NO removal efficiency dramatically. In the NO/O2/N2/CO2 system, the increase of CO2 could reduce the NO removal efficiency, and the addition of a very small amount of acetone could reduce the inhibition of CO2 on NO removal significantly. In the NO/O2/N2/CO2/H2O system, the addition of H2O could reduce the NO removal efficiency, and the addition of small amount of acetone could greatly reduce the inhibition of H2O on NO removal.
