Abstract:TheLow temperature oxidation reaction is dominant before ignition of in-situ combustion in heavy oil. Based on the static experiment of low temperature oxidation and combined with the seven ways of oil oxidation. Accorded to the gas content after reaction, the weights of various oxidation models were assigned. The reaction equations of low temperature oxidation of heavy oil were studied. The results showed that the coefficient ratio of O2 and CO2 was 1.06: 0.12 for the equation at low temperature oxidation reaction. Compared with the light oil, the proportion of oxygenation reaction was higher at low temperature oxidation. The heavy oil was more active in oxygenation reaction than light oil. Finally the gas injection rate in the ignition stage for one area of Liaohe oilfield was calculated. The result showed that it should be more than 571 m3/d.
