Abstract  Acetylcholinesterase nanocapsules (nAChE) were prepared by two-step method. Firstly, n-acryloyloxysuccinimide was used to introduce double bonds on the surface of AChE. Then, N-(3-aminopropyl) methacrylate and acrylamide were used as monomers, and N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide was used as crosslinking agent to prepare AChE nanocapsules. The results of dynamic light scattering (DLS) showed that the particle size of AChE nanocapsules increased, indicating the successful preparation. The results of enzyme activity test showed that the nanocapsules could not only retain the catalytic activity of AChE, but also greatly improved its high temperature stability and organic solvent stability.
